No doubt about it: Kim Gordon is awesome. The Sonic Youth frontwoman, artist, and original riot grrrl has become over the years both an icon and a role model for women across the country. A creative force to be reckoned with? Most definitely.

And hey, guess what? Kim recently decided to clean out her closet-and now her old duds are up for grabs! In a sale co-sponsored by Refinery 29, scads of Kim's closet cleanouts are now available for purchase at Mercy Now Vintage in Oakland, California. Dubbed "Kim Gordon's Closet," the sale began on September 1 and will last for only two weeks, closing on September 15 at 9pm PST. Items cost anywhere from $78 to $450, and many of them are high-end designer wear.

If you happen to live in the area, you can stop by the store and check everything out live and in person; if, however, like us, you happen to live somewhere other than Northern California, a number of items are also available for purchase online.

Want a peek? Of course you do! Here are just a few of the pieces you can nab:

Marc Jacobs gray suede booties ($395)

Jeffrey Monteiro red dress ($225)

Prada black leather coat ($450 )

Alas, these rockin' pieces have already been sold:

Mayle pinstripe sailor dress ($265)

Sue Stemp chiffon and velvet printed mini dress ($275)

Why Mercy Now Vintage? Said Kim to Collectors Weekly, "I was cleaning out my closet, and I didn't want to go the Ebay route"-like some people we could name-"I still have so many more clothes to get rid of, besides these. A lot of it is from my X-Girl clothing line. I don't know if anyone is interested in it, though." Trust us, Kim: We're interested. Who WOULDN'T want to own a piece of rock history-and a piece from someone as awesome as Kim Gordon, at that!

Kim's wardrobe is selling like hotcakes (however fast those usually sell), so hurry on up before they're all gone!

Keep on rockin', Bettys!
