According to Telegraph, red paint sales have gotten a 40% boost over the last year in the United Kingdom--and it's all thanks to Christian Louboutin and his iconic red-sole shoes. Employees of British hardware chain Homebase said that girls come in to color-match tester pots to fashion magazine photos to get just the right Louboutin red so that they can hand-paint their heels at home. Innovative! And they're certainly not the only ones who love Loubs: Celebrities like Blake Lively, Emma Stone, and Miley Cyrus are also big fans of the high-end trotters.
