So the Kardashian clan has jumped on another branding opportunity, surprise, surprise. Not exactly news that blows our socks off … and speaking of socks, apparently they are pretty hot these days, because Rob Kardashian is designing a line of socks called Arthur George that will be sold at Neiman Marcus starting November 9th.

Kardashian told WWD, "Socks are something I've always been passionate about." And we know you may be thinking, um, socks, really, Rob? Typically you don't hear the words "passionate" and "socks" in the same sentence, but these are classy socks. They are made out of 100 percent Egyptian cotton and retail for $30 a pair.

And as for the name -- Arthur George -- we have to hand it to Kardashian for not falling into the K-pun trap like all of his sisters. He came up with the name because Arthur is his middle name and George is his father's. And unlike his sisters, Rob has a business degree from USC, and the fact that he veered away from the famous Kardashian name shows he doesn't want this to be just another celebrity vanity project.
Kardashian explained that he has bigger design ambitions in the future. "I'm starting small and I don't want to fail," he said. "And socks is where it begins."
