Quick Style Guide: Thanksgiving Attire..leave room for the turkey!
Thanksgiving is upon us! Family, Friends, Food, Clothes? What does one wear for a meal with family, or more than one meal with different families? Here's your quick style guide for Thanksgiving dressing! (haha, so punny!)
Remember a few key things:
A) You're going to be eating alot! Keep clothes a little looser fitting. You'll get super uncomfortable when that stomach expands from food consumption. No skin tight garments!
B) You might be seeing family you haven't seen since last year, or since forever ago. Don't send grandma into cardiac arrest with all that bare skin. Wear a cami under that lowcut sweater or tights/leggings under that cute new mini! Cover your parts, the only naked thing people wanna see is a turkey.
C) You might be standing more than you think! Whether mom invited more guests than she thought or 90 yr old Aunt Ruby needs the chair, or you've been commanded to help out in the kitchen, comfortable shoes will be your friend. The spiky stilettos or thigh-high boots just won't work for this occasion. And no one wants to have to see you take of your shoes. Cute flats or flat boots are where its at!
A few options
1) Oversize sweater belted low with leggings and flats

2) Dark wash denim jeans with embellished blouse or sweater

3) Jersey dress with dark tights and flat boots

All of that being said, I still have no clue what I'm gonna wear! But you better believe it will be comfy and cute!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Hope its a blessed one!
