Shine Beauty Guru Review: Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara by Estee Lauder

Mascara ranks one of the beauty must haves of even the makeup minimalist and when you find a good one that delivers on its promises you hold onto it for dear life! Coincidentally I just ran out of one of my fav mascaras so this review came just in time! Our beauty guru assignment this month was to review the Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara by Estee Lauder. This mascara claims to deliver big and bold lashes with the first application, with a lightweight Extreme Bold Formula, a special blend of lash building fibers, and their exclusive Extreme Brush Comber. Housed in a beautiful gold tube with black script, it's definitely the prettiest tube of mascara I've seen! With all of this going on, this mascara is sure to deliver right? Well, after wearing it faithfully for a few weeks, here's my verdict:


I like it! I like it!


I definitely saw the difference in my lashes and it looked amazing! My eyes really looked bold, my lashes really making a statement, which I always want my eyes to do! On the days I'm super lazy and just want to wear concealer, my eyes still look bold (and very awake!) I definitely added some length to my lashes and gave it great volume, without looking crazy! I think the brush made a world of difference, separating my lashes evenly making application a breeze! The formula is very lightweight, gives me the right amount of color on the first application, and it stays put all day. Clumping wasn't an issue, which gives this mascara another plus for me! Though mascara was something I rarely splurge on, the $23.50 price tag on this one is totally worth it!
