This morning I was browsing through my morning newsfeed when I came across a write-up in London's Evening Standard about a Bambi-printed Givenchy sweatshirt that's sold out everywhere.
This is what it looks like:

Cute, right? It's a little bit Disney, a little bit avant-garde--casual enough to wear with skinny black jeans and boots but fashion-forward enough to dress it up by pairing it with a cute leather or pleated skirt. Girly but grown-up, silly and serious. All in all, the perfect novelty sweatshirt.
Ooh, and celebs love it--Ciara was spotted wearing it with a maxiskirt, Lily Collins was snapped wearing it in Paris, Amanda Seyfried posed in it, Carine Roitfeld wore it on the red carpet, and even street-style star Anna Dello Russo, who's usually spotted out in creations much wilder and OTT, has been seen wearing it around town.

Here's the kicker: This sweatshirt costs $1,375. And, according to the Standard, it's selling out everywhere--there are even wait lists!
Don't get me wrong: Here at Glamour HQ, we do love this season's upgraded sweats--check out Christina's color-block picks and Alexandra's ode to sweatpants--but paying four figures for a sweatshirt? Hmm.
"There is so much buzz about the Bambi sweater," Net-a-Porter's fashion director, Holli Rogers, told the paper. "It's instantly recognizable."
What I want to know is: Would you ever pay $1,375 for a sweatshirt--no matter how cute? Are there certain fashion items that more justify a higher price tag--like maybe a timeless bag or a great pair of classic boots? Or do you think that four figures for sweats is worth it in some cases? Sound off in the comments, below!
