The inexplicable fashion fads of our childhoods

Had and loved most of these items! I hated mood rings and still do (aparently my mood doesn't change) Love my baby back pack. I still have it! It has saved many eletronic devices from an early demise. Mine is insulated and waterproof. I've took it on vacations to theme parks, mountains, and beaches. Weather splashes from rides and waterfalls or sudden downpours on hikes my camera and cell phone was safe and dry.

chockers and mood rings are still around and me and my friends still wear that stuff i have a dozen of mood rings and even tho im young some of these things look really awesome. I think most of everything should make a comeback. Although i couldda used those head bands right about now...

I used to go to church wearing my Stick-On Earrings on my forehead, between my eyebrows, like a bindi! I also was guilty of eating them... But hey, I was 3!!!

i had ALL of these.. (except for that hat, i was more into the sailor white bowl hats) i was one of those girls in the baby doll dresses and doc marten combat boots! what a trip down memory lane.

remember how jelly shoes would get a funky smell to them when they got dirty and sweaty? yuck, i don't think i'll ever get near those again just remembering that! :P

Does anyone remember clothes than allowed tan through? I dont remember the brand(s)...but swim suits worn but without tan lines and stuff like that.

I can't wait for leather braided bracelets to come back in. Back in the 60's we wore those, along with macrame'd bracelets (what you now called friendship bracelets). Nice.

Jelly Shoes are timeless! I wore clear ones covered in crystals for my wedding. They just take me back to those wonderful hot summer days when I was a kid. I never had a bad day when I wore jellies. I have a pair that I wear during the summer and my husband knows that if I wear jellies it is going to be a good day :-). Everyone should get a pair!!!

OMG this is too funny. I was born in 79 so I totally grew up with all these fads. I loved my charm necklace and slap bracelets. Wish I wouldn't have given or thrown them away. What a flashback.

I had a pair of red sunglasses that were mirror relection with splatter paint. I had the charm necklace, the t shirt clip thing, a hypercolor shirt jelly shoes and bracelets one thing you didnt have on here were swatch watches loved that too and the coca cola gear. shirts and watches and bags, and esprit

i remember underwear with days of the week on them and light-up shoes. do i sound young? i am. ahhh, to be born in the 90's :)

I so had to have a pair of "clear" jellies....took me forever to convince my mom to buy them. They hurt so bad I thought I would be crippled for life! The joy of being a kid.

I remember all of those, I use to bed my mom for jellies, everyone had them, I remember we were on vacation to New York in 1985 and everyone had them and so I begged until she gave in. I went through the slideshow and I remember the slap bracelets and oh my gosh, I use to love, LOVE the charm necklaces, those were all the rave back then.

my son loves the the silly bandz. he has them in almost everytype.....wow, I remember when i was crazy about lil things like that.
