The Need to Be Hairless in the Summertime

I'd like to start off by saying that I hate shaving. Ever since I hit puberty, I have been the hariest girl on the block (gross, I know). But I also have a mild metal allergy that makes me super itchy when I shave.

So I was reluctant to try my new Guru assignment - The Venus ProSkin Moisture Rich Razor.

I stared at it in my bathroom for days. Until one day, after a stand off between the razor or the Nair, I knew I couldn't take that nasty Nair smell anymore. I opened the package and took out the handle. Then, I opened the razor blade which has a thick rim of moisturizer around it. Plugged them together and I got to work!

It was as if the heavens split in my shower!

No more shaving cream! No more Nair! No more painful waxing. And most importantly for me, no more itchy summer legs! AH! My legs felt SO smooth. Even my boyfriend noticed (who doesn't like touching my legs since my coarse hair grows so fast that I can't keep up -- I don't blame him)!

For the past two weeks I have been shaving daily with these razors. My hair grows ridiculously fast, but which the ease of this razor, I just take it off the handy suction cup rack (comes with the starter package) and I go!

I cannot express how awesome this razor is. Now, all I have to do is eep buying the razors and I'm golden. Looks like I would use one razor a week, but that's fine! I have never found any razor that takes care of all my skin issues.

Who knew I would actually be wearing skirts and dress this summer!? Yes :)
