I've never wanted to do Vegas. Losing my Marc Jacobs handbag fund in a loud, gaudy room without clocks, benches, or a visible exit is my personal idea of heck
I'd much prefer to drop a small fortune being pampered in a luxurious environment, you know, where I'd at least get a scalp massage and a caviar hair mask or something.
Clearly, I'm not alone in my concept of fun. To cater to the demand of Vegas's beauty-obsessed tourists, top talent is setting up shop. Cristophe was onto this four years ago when he opened up at the MGM, but now three more celebrity hairstylists are opening up their own spaces, too: Kim Vo is at the Mirage, Michael Boychuck is at Caesars Palace and The Palms, and get this-Frédéric Fekkai-is about to hit The Harmon Hotel, Spa and Residences (in 2009).
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm really up for that cah-raazy bachelorette bash in Vegas my friend is planning right now.
Count. Me. In.
