At every head shop, you can always count on three things by the counter: Rolling papers, skull-shaped bongs, and little roll-on hippie oils in both single notes like "Vanilla" and inexplicable blends like "Midnight Goddess."
I've used them all (the OILS, that is!), and I've always been underwhelmed (read: nauseated) by the results.
Red Flower,on the other hand, does all-natural roll-ons right. And you don't have to go to a head shop to buy them. (Try Bloomingdale's.) The earthy line uses organic essential oils in the Ambrette perfume, which includes ambrette, bitter orange, orange flower, frankincense, black pepper, rose absolute and geranium.
If you're looking for something a little less cheerful and a little more moody-as organic fragrance fans are sometimes inclined-go for the Guaiac perfume. It's warm, smoky, and sophisticated.
