User Post: Olay Regenerist Happiness

About a month ago, I had a knock on my door. I wasn't expecting any delivery, so imagine my delight when I open my package and have received 3! Olay Regenerist products to try! "I love this gig," I said aloud, and immediately went and applied some product. I was gifted with the anti-aging eye roller, UV defense regenerating lotion SPF 50, and the DNA superstructure UV cream SPF 25. I'll start with the eye roller. I LOVE it. Love it, love it love it. Its so simple to use... Click and roll, repeat on other eye. Its cooling thanks to the roller beads and feels fantastically luxurious on my always tired and puffy eyes. I also initially noticed that my under eyes were super moisturized without feeling goopy or sticky. I've been using it faithfully for most of the month of September now, and while I don't yet see any huge, earth shattering difference, I do notice subtle changes. My eyes appear brighter and I look healthier. My late nights and early mornings aren't painting scarlet letters under my eyes anymore. I have recommended this product to my mom and several friends, because I really believe in it and truly love it. Considering that my old eye cream before getting this was La Mer, I'd say that speaks well for Olay. Given the choice between the two, I am sticking with my new little "magic wand." The UV defense regenerating lotion SPF 50, however, I am not so in love with. I do really like it, but that's as far as I'd go. Maybe over more time, my mood towards it will change, as I am not giving up just yet. What I'm not as crazy about is the texture. It doesn't feel luxurious. It feels to me like a quicky sunscreen lotion that I'd slap on running out the door. I also don't feel like it provides me with the moisture I so desperately need. Also, I don't like the way my bottle dispenses the lotion. Each pump is never consistent and the pump just feels a little cheapo. That's just me though. Maybe I got a faulty bottle. Overall, I'd give this on an "eh." I do love the high amount of SPF it provides, but I'll save my praises for the next product. Ok, now for the new love of mine... The DNA Superstructure UV cream SPF 25. Holy, delicious, creamy joy on my face! I LOVE THIS CREAM! It ultra luscious cream goes on effortlessly and practically melts right into my skin. It is the single best face cream I have ever used. Once again, before getting this product, I was using the La Mer Cream, and I'll admit it, I was a little reluctant to give it up. That mindset completely vanished after the first use. My husband came home for lunch and the first thing out of his mouth was, "You look so beautiful today, you're glowing!" (I had no makeup on yet.) I blushed at his enthusiastic compliment and was pretty much sold. Every time I put this cream on, I just feel better about myself. My makeup looks smoother and I look more radiant. My skin looks a little firmer and definitely more plump. I've been watching my little lines on my forehead like a hawk and while they are not any smaller, they aren't quite as noticeable. Its only been a few weeks, so its not like I can expect a miracle to have taken place. I have, however, noticed I've been getting alot of compliments on my skin lately and owe my thanks to those nifty scientists at the Olay lab.
