I love sunglasses. They are the best accessory for summer and can instantly make you look trendy! You can buy expensive ones, cheap ones, medium size, over size, kid size. Whatever your want you can find it.

I happen to love oversize, aviators, vintage all at a cheap price in many different colors! I have probably 10 different pairs of sunglasses. Sounds like a lot but at somewhere between $5.00 to $25.00 a pair, I won't be heartbroken if I lose a pair. I have only one pair of nice expensive sunglasses. I protect my D&G pair with my life! They get worn on special occasions and don't get thrown I my purse. They have no scratches which is a miracle after 3 years. I much prefer cheap pairs so I can accessorize with whatever I'm wearing, throw them in my bag, and not have to worry about them.

The new hubster has the opposite outlook when it comes to sunglasses. Here's his reasoning: "I buy expensive sunglasses because of the lens quality. The style of the pair plays a small factor in picking out my sunglasses but the clarity in which I can see while wearing the them is what concerns me the most. Unfortunately, the pairs that provide me with the most clarity and "squint free" days are the more expensive ones. I'll spend $100-$300 on a really good pair and not feel guilty because of the comfort they provide. I have to be careful though because buying expensive means that I need a versatile pair that can be worn with basically everything. I just don't see the point in buying 5 pair of sunglasses that I won't wear because I am squinting and not comfortable with"

Hhmph, while I understand his thinking and good UV protection is a must, I'll take my cheapie cute pairs any day! I don't wear mine only for eye protection and comfort. (like he does!)

I wear them for style.
