    You know, I always thought buns were sort of matronly. Until I started seeing them come back in so many fashion blogs! You can sort of poof it up in the front and it looks that much more stylish. I even used a bump-it in my hair once and it was cute!


    I am SO excited that BUNS are back in style. One because it's a ridiculous-kind of hot outside. Two because it's easy. And three, it's just cute!


    No longer will I have to wake up early to straighten, curl or wave my hair.


    No longer will I have to spend 25 minutes putting curlers in my hair in the evenings just so I won't have to wake up early.


    No longer, ladies, will I have to harm my hair my spraying, molding or cramping harsh chemicals into my do!


    Nope! Just flip your hair down, pull it all up to the top of your head, wrap around your finger and tie down. Pull a few wispies down around your ears and face. Pin up anything that might fall down around the back. And BAM! Good to go for work.


    Plus, it's insanely easy to slide in little flowers, or headbands or clipies. Are your kidding me!? Easy peasy!

      You know what's funny, I just wore my hair in a loose, low, side(ish) bun today! I left out my bangs and it was really cute! I dont look that good with my hair up though :/

      my hair is up to my lower back and its really curly, i looovvveee having it in a bun but it gets too be too heavy at times... Im loving these messy buns tho.... giving me new hairstyle ideas!! Thanks!!!

      @ Bernadette... side lose bun with bangs?!?!? I would have never thought of it but it sounds pretty cute!!!

      I don't remember buns leaving. In fact, I think they are a staple in any long hair repertoire.

      At least in my little area of the world, Kansas City, I haven't seen buns around (besides any early morning trips to the bank). But recently, down in the Crossroads Art Scene, I've been seeing buns like crazy and they are cute! I think more creatively placed buns are making a come-back :)
