pretty if it was on a pretty woman. This girl looks like some meth user with stringy long hair and skin and bones from not having an appetite since meth decreases the appetite. I am SO sick of ugly waif models. They ruin the clothing!

not everyone likes traditional white wedding gowns, White is way too plain and too me a white wedding gown irritates me with its plainess, I like the idea of wearing a Black wedding gown and so does my sister, i plain to wear a victotian gothic black and red wedding gown

I'm getting married in 2 weeks.... My wedding dress is a copper/black taffeta and I think it is the most romantic wedding dress ever! Not only was it much less expensive those "traditional" wedding dress, but I know it says ME and I won't look like a thousand other brides who wear what "tradition" tells them to! The tradition of the white wedding dress started with Queen Victoria... before that, a woman wore her best dress, one that she made or chose because it matched her tastes, no matter the color or style or pattern...
I know I'm probably just repeating what tons of other comments have said, but I still feel like a woman should be able to chose the dress that suits her heart and personality without any fear that she will be disowned or scoffed at because she didn't wear white!

There's a time and place for a black dress... for a bride at a wedding isn't it.

Yep Valerie I agree I just wrote a little rant above about how the waif looking models look like they are all strung out on drugs and havent had a decent meal since 1995, when they were toddlers! LOL They ruin the clothes!

I feel like most of these look more "formal-ballgown" than "wedding dress", although I suppose that depends on what one sees a wedding dress as.
I tend to think of a more poufy image for "wedding", so I love the second one and the fourth one, but all of these are stunning. I would wear any of them in a hot second..

Black is a beautiful color. Especially it makes the body looks slimmer and more classy. Non-traditional wedding gowns would be nice to wear I think.

the model in #4 looks like she does heroin or something :/

Maybe if they had some lively makeup instead of looking like the living dead. I model, so i knw how they should look. Bright colors in the make up and a some jewelry would bring it to life. Or maybe sashes in different colors to go around the waist...and that sash could fall into the train of the same color...just sayin...smooches

These all look like red carpet or just plain dress up evening wear, they don't look the least "bridal" to me anyway . . .

Well, perhaps if you are planning on being a widow in the next few hours after your wedding, it would save time changing clothes. I'm surprised at Vera Wang, she doesn't need this kind of attention getting.

Would the designer actually wear one of these to her wedding? They are ugly as wedding dresses but some are nice as evening gowns. I would rather be married in red than black. "NOT A GOOD IDEA".

If the modles looked happier, the dreeses would too. They all look like they are attending funerals.. if they looked the part, might have sold us all!

I absolutely love the black gowns!. When I got married the 1st time, I wanted to wear a black gown and have the bridesmaids wear white. My intended had such a fit that I relented and gave up the idea. (You'll notice that he was my FIRST husband!)

Good dress for Cruella DeVille. That model looks creepy tho- give her a cheeseburger, she probably hasn't eaten since the '07! I like BOLD red for a wedding dress, but then again I'm a harlot!

These are actually nice. I'd wear them even if I'm not getting married :D.

I'm good with different colors for wedding dresses, but black (not to mention the models look starved and depressed) is just kinda morbid. They look like they're going to a funeral, not a wedding. I mean, unless you're really into the goth theme or something along those lines, black just looks depressing for a wedding- the supposed "happiest day of your life." :/
