She's a fashion icon by any measure--Vogue even called her the best dressed woman of the decade--so who wouldn't want some help looking a little more like Kate Moss? Her fiance, Jamie Hince, recently shared the name of her tailor with the world, meaning we can all be one step closer to achieving wardrobe nirvana.
After Hince had a very expensive suit made for him on Savile Row (AKA the London home of some of the world's best suits--remember when I saw Orlando Bloom's and Jude Law's being custom-made there?), Moss tipped him off to a more affordable way to do it: "There's an amazing tailor in Thailand and I get them copied," he says, according to the Express UK. "The guy's called Mike the Tailor - he's a genius! Kate found him. She had six pairs of shorts, two suits and a waistcoat made."
Getting expensive clothes reproduced by a genius tailor from Thailand is nothing new--for years, my father has been heading to the Waldorf Astoria every summer when his tailor, Pete, comes in from Bangkok for a week to see New York clients--but it's cool to know that even millionaire supermodels think it's a smart move! Do any of you dolls know anyone who's done the same thing? Anyone planning a trip to Thailand? A visit to a tailor is a must on your list--you can go early in the week and have your measurements done, then come back a few days later and take the clothes home with you!
