What Men Really Think About Your Hair

I learned long ago that with my curly hair I've got to let it be because no matter what I do, it will always do what it wants to do. Somehow that works though!

I'll keep it simple, if you look good, we like it. If you don't, we don't.

Most guys love long hair. I know times that mine has been shorter I've noticed a more negative vibe. I think they find it sexy and kind of wild.

My hair is down to my lower back, but it has short layers at the top so I can tease it easily and it gives it volume, but its super straight dark and shiny w/ side swept bangs and even though its super long guys tell me not to cut it and my boyfriend loves it

Short or long, straight or curly, blonde or brunette... I don't think it matters. What matters is, does it look HEALTHY and can they RUN THEIR FINGERS through it. That's seriously all they care about.

"From uncensored opinions of men to scientific evidence" is what the article says in the first sentence. Well, it gives the opinions, but whaddup with the scientific evidence? I saw none cited in the article. Also, about those 100 men. I also saw no demographics given re: age (that's a biggie re: attitudes/opinions) or anything else. Granted it's a man on the street survey, but you could give a general clue. And saying you're also gonna give "scientific evidence" then offer none. Bogus.

I just recently cut my hair VERY short and I get more attention from guys than when it was long. I just don't look good with really long hair. Short is just better on some.

I read this article because I thought it was going to give a full or diverse picture of what men think about women's hair (e.g., including hair styles of women of color). Maybe next time we'll learn more about what men think about locks, curly hair, afros, relaxed vs. natural, micro/box/and super long braids while we also learn about what guys thing of Gwyneth's and Jenn Aniston's hair so the article can at least live up to its title.
