With all this talk about Kate Middleton's potential wedding dress and shoes, we've forgotten all about one very important royal wedding attendee: Queen Elizabeth II! We're sure she'll be in festive morning dress, complete with a color-coordinated hat, coat, and gloves, but some specifics have surfaced.
Angela Kelly, the queen's personal adviser, is said to be dressing her majesty for the big event, according to The Express. The 58-year-old designer is a close confidant of the queen, and currently serves as curator in jewelry, insignias, and wardrobe. She is working on two ensembles for the April 29 event and a third outfit has been commissioned outside the palace. On the day of her grandson Prince William's wedding, she will select one of the three outfits she prefers depending on the weather.
A royal source told the paper, "I would be amazed if she didn't wear an Angela Kelly outfit for the wedding. Although it will ultimately be the queen's choice, Angela has her ear."For more on the Royals... check out our new site!
