WTF of the day: Will Ferrell's new sunscreen line is gross, funny, and, seemingly, for real

For his new line of SPF, Will Ferrell posed for a series of dorky-naughty shots so cheesily retro they make those Playgirl spreads from the '70s seem like serious art. Check them out. We feel weird just looking at them. And yet...we can't stop.

The actor and comedian's Will Ferrell Sunscreen Collection ("Slap some on today!") is made up of three SPF 30 lotions--Sun Stroke, Sexy Hot Tan, and Forbidden Fruit. Distinctions between each lotion were not apparent from press materials, but we do know that 100 percent of the proceeds from all of them will benefit Cancer for College's Willpowered Scholarship Fund, a charity that gives college financial aid to cancer survivors and amputees.

The whole thing seems like a joke, right? Or at least the most random thing you've read about all day? When asked why he got involved in the business of half nekkid portraiture and protecting folks from sun damage, Ferrell replied: "I've always dreamed of owning a lotion company. And I've always hated cancer."
