Young Style Icon: Demi Lovato

Disney alum Demi Lovato is taking the music scene by storm and quickly developing a unique rocker style. The 16-year-old has a promising career ahead including a new album and single, a film, a sitcom and a concert tour this summer. We caught up with Demi backstage at one of her concerts where she gave us the scoop on her fashion style and life on the road.


Demi's first album Don't Forget (released in September) was a quick hit-- it debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 and sold 89,000 copies in the first week. Her title track is currently on iTunes Top 10 Music Video list. Those of you who have more than a slight crush on the Jonas Brothers may remember that Demi co-starred in the Disney Movie "Camp Rock" with the brothers last summer. And this summer she's got plenty going on as well: a summer tour with American Idol season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta, plus the release of her second album in July and the lead role in the Disney Original movie "Princess Protection Program."
