Cheap shopping in AprilThe warm winter has had an impact on more than just the lack of snow days and expected proliferation of insects making their way to us this summer. Oddly enough, it has also affected shopping.
Some items are discounted simply because of the change of climate this year as well as the world events. And some of the greatest deals out there simply take place this time of year, regardless. Read on to see what you should be on the lookout for in April!

You can usually find deals on cruises normally in April, but this year the savings are even greater. Currently, this year's cruise prices are 11% cheaper than they were in 2011.

Barbecue Grills2. Barbecue Grills
Like office furniture, there will be some deals on barbecue grills now, but possibly even more as we approach May and June. There are usually some good deals around Memorial Day weekend, but know your prices and start now because a sales sign isn't always synonymous with savings.
Office Furniture3. Office Furniture
The dip in office furniture starts now in April but many experts believe the prices will slash further in May and June. It's a good time now to start researching items you want and familiarizing yourself with the prices, keeping an eye out for the day(s) prices dip low.

Desktop Computer4. Desktop Computer
Deal News reports that prices in 2012 are still at Black Friday levels. So if you're in need of a laptop, look for deals on fully loaded desktop replacements (17" or larger).
Spring Apparel5. Spring Apparel
As a mid-season promotion, many retailers offer 30-40% off spring collections. Just last week in NYC's Lord & Taylor, I noticed prices slashed up to 60%.

Home Depot offers a Black Friday Spring Sale every year. This year it began even earlier (probably due to the mild weather). The 2012 sale has already begun so now is the time to stock up on home improvement items.
HD TVs7. HD TVs
Brand name TVs have stayed at steady sale prices since Christmas but the non brand name TVs have dipped even further, averaging at 14% lower than December prices.
