I haven't met to many hot sauces I didn't like but I have to vote for Melinda's. They have a variety that goes from semi-mild to the extreme. Even their multiple X'sn still have a great flavor......

I would never even TRY any of these sauces--I don't like hot sauces. Why be in pain when you eat? Mild is the way to go.

My vote goes to Tapatio, no vinegar aftertaste which I like. Good heat without pain. Best "all around" hot sauce to me.

Did you taste test, Cackalacky? It's a huge local favorite in Raleigh and was been cited in several national magazines.

I make my own. Used to be a big Tapatio fan, but Generally I like to use hot sauce sparingly. I like to taste my food, thank you. Although I do enjoy the Chipotle Tabasco at Chipotle Mex Grill.

Coming from a true Mexican who makes her own salsa and hot sauces:
Frank's, I think only belongs on wings or something similar.
Sriracha is a staple if your eating Asian foods.
Tapatio goes on EVERYTHING I eat though! Salad's, soups, marinade, pasta, you name it! I can't live without that stuff!! More of my favorites: Pico Pica, Chahlula, Valentina... I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I love best!

      my guys love hot sauce
    • Kaylha:  •  1 year 7 months ago
I love Tapatio, but Sriracha is nowhere near mild... If we're talking about the clear bottle with the rooster on it and green cap... that'll leave you sweating.
