Warm up on a cold winter night with this low-calorie beverage made from just a few ingredients that you have on hand. Combine sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla for a cup of chocolate flavor. Add to the recipe by topping the cup with miniature marshmallows or add a pinch of cinnamon to complement the chocolate taste.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups fat-free milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- 1In a medium saucepan stir together sugar and cocoa powder. Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
- 2Heat over medium heat until warm. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Makes 4 (6-ounce) servings.
