Prevent Forest Fires

Racoon of Central TexasLast year, about one mile from here there was a massive forest fire. Lightening is the most common cause of a forest fire. Life over property is the key. People can lose their home and pets and family in just a few short minutes.

When people throw trash out of a car, wildlife can die because of this. Car accidents can happen because a large animal is eating off the highways and whole families can die. Another reason to wear a seat belt and not be distracted by cell phones or anything else.
Be careful when traveling. Be mindful of areas you do not know.
We have many kinds of wild animals here. This raccoon is a very clean animal. They wash their food with clean water and use their hands to open doors and climb.

All life needs water. Be sure to change your pets water daily. Use a disinfectant and running water to clean feeding stations. Learn how to save animals and know about hunting. Never point a gun unless you intend to use it.

Teach your children not to trespass.

Property owners have a right to protect what they have worked hard for.
Since humans are the care takers of the Earth. that is one important job.
Wild animals are wild. They cannot be trusted. Tame animals have been domesticated. They are dependent upon humans for survival.

Here where we live a small cat or dog will get eaten. We have lions and foxes. We have many kinds of birds and other animals.
See a doctor if a wild animal bites you. Wear good leather boots when walking around because there are snakes that may cost you your life.
Nature and each animal teaches us lessons. Learn to respect the Earth because it will belong to your children some day.
