Guide to dating a good looking guy

Popular phraseology classifies this guy as "eye candy." He's not just easy on the eyes but also your friends, family and complete strangers' eyes too. Before you raise your hand and shout, "Pick me!" consider what dating a hottie means. Not everyone enjoys the constant attention dating an attractive man brings. Dating a good looking guy requires a few things. Are you willing to try?

You should trust him. Starting a relationship with a good looking guy requires trust. He's handsome and everyone knows it but that doesn't mean he's unfaithful. Just because he could date just about anyone he likes doesn't mean he's doomed to cheat. Trust him, just like you trusted the guy who had a "great" personality. (That's code for ugly.)

You must have confidence. Acquaintances and some friends will say dumb things like, "Girl, how did you get him?" (Like it required a trap and some raw meat.) Don't let their doubt and unbelief shake your confidence. Dating a good looking guy requires confidence in your total package. Keep your self-confidence at a healthy level by continuing to do all the things that attracted your gorgeous guy.

You must be gracious. Besides the aforementioned dumb things friends will say, you'll meet plenty of floozies. (That's right, I said the "F" word!) Be gracious to women who get weak in the knees at the sight of a handsome man. Ignore the gawkers, the haters and the ladies who don't have self-control. Fighting and griping about the stares won't make them go away. All this will do is drive a wedge between you and your man. Show grace under fire.

You must keep an eye on friends. There are friends and then there are "friends." He's so good looking, you might want to shout it from the rooftops but don't! Bragging about how he kisses or how he works his special brand of magic could stir some jealousy in your inner circle. Sadly, an envious friend could make a move on your man. He's not a toy that can be stolen but it is best to avoid this situation. Keep your friends close but only share personal confidences with your closest friends.
