The Coolest Beauty Invention, Ever, But Would You Use It?

OMG, it's what we've all been waiting for -- The Beautiful Vending Hair Styler has finally hit the U.S.

Haven't heard of it yet? It's a machine with a self-sterilizing GHD Ceramic Hot Iron for hair touch-ups on the go. They're installed in public restrooms at different venues, like nightclubs, malls and airports. All you have to do is insert a few bucks and it activates the flat iron for a timed session, so you can fix that hair emergency happening on your head (get fixes for other beauty disasters here).

Do you realize what this means? We can literally style our hair anytime, anywhere -- without carrying around a giant purse filled with travel styling tools (uh, not that I do that ...). I know this will be a lifesaver after a long plane ride leaves my hair looking supremely blah. What do you think? Would you pay $2 to use this beauty invention?

I think it's a great idea, but I'm not sure sure about these being self-sterilizing. Think about how many women who would use this... what about head lice or something! Yuck.

I would tooootally use that. I'm imagining a situation where I've been dancing all night and met a cute boy who wants to take me to coffee (or something...) after the club...I can't go lookin' all beat up...the lights will be MUCH brighter in the coffee shop ;)

My hair has to be doing something seriously wrong for me to use this in a public place. And I'd have to be on my way somewhere where my hairstyle will matter; not my Sunday trip to Starbucks.

Hmm...I'll pass. Unless I have like a hair emergency, but that would be the only reason. Its kinda gross.

Yuck no way! What if the person who used it before you has horrible dandruff, or actual head lice and some of the lice eggs gets on your hair, or has some contaigous infection, like maybe scalp psoriasis or something else, or she uses alot of hair products and then your it makes the clamps gooey! And how does this self-sterilize? If it doesn't stay hot all the time to autoclave the clamps, for it to even heat up for use you have to insert two dollars to get hot and use it, where's the self sterilization in that? Hell nah I'd never use this, gross!

I think that is a great idea.On the other hand that doesn't seem like it would to clean I mean everyone using one flat iron hmmmmmm.Good idea but they might want to go back to the drawing board.

Hmm in the school's bathroom would be nice. My hair always needs to be straightened again halfway through the school day (when I actually do straighten it!)

      really cool idea.

I don't care if it's sterilized or not, hundreds of women (who may or may not have washed their hair in the past decade) would have touched it before me

I would use it in an emergency. I think it's a great idea.

I would use it, but what about people with lice, and dandruff, and stuff like that?? How it gets cleaned and how often it gets cleaned is my only concern. Other than that, I'd give it a 10/10!! :)

Wow! Can't wait to see those popping up around LA.

Even though I dont need/use one- I would use it. Doesn't it get hot enough to sterilze or at least sanitize anyway?

Also come to think of it though, for two bucks a pop this can be a very dangerous timed weapon..... I wouldn't install these things just anywhere...
