    Some say it's pumpkins, some say it's ghosts, but we say nothing signals Halloween like candy corn. When you - or your teeth! - need a break from the bite-sized version, try this baked interpretation.

    Ingredients:

    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    5 cups flour
    1 tbsp vanilla
    2 whole eggs and 2 egg yolks
    1/2 cup hot water
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 teaspoon coconut extract (optional)
    1/2 teaspoon french vanilla extract
    1/4 teaspon almond extract
    Orange & yellow gel food coloring

    Directions:

    In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar. Add all the remaining ingredients (except for the food coloring) and beat until well mixed. Spoon half of the batter into a second bowl.
