A major point - the more recently a food has been introduced, the greater the likelihood that it will cause damage!

Many may not be aware - but heart attack deaths were so rare before the introduction of refined oils and margarine that the inventor (Dudley) was advised to focus his talents on developing something at least marginally useful..........................

It's amazing.. and kinda sad.. that a top cardiologist would not even make 1 mention of Magnesium! Holy cow! What's with the cover up? Could it be because even if you're doing all of the things she recommends, you're still going to need her money making prescriptions if you're not getting enough Magnesium. Most people don't get enough anymore and it's directly correlated to the rise in heart disease. Look up Magnesium Deficiency.. it's the secret to saving your life!

I am 91 yrs old and walk 2 to 3 miles a day, mostly inside a large store. I try to eat at least 6 servings daily of fruit and veggies. A glass of Pino Noir with lunch and my biggest meal is bfst. I feel very blessed but maybe my Skandahoovian genes is responsible.

I smoke weed, drink 2-10 glasses of wine, and have sex with women half my age every day. I am 58 and wake up with an erection every morning and never have to get up in the middle of the night to pee. I love pork, lamb and beef and eat meat every day along with fruits and vegetables.
At least I will die with a smile.

Where are the 17 ways to safeguard your heart?

I think moderation in everything is key. You need to exercise, I walk and hope to get into a weight lighting routine. I also take multivitamins daily, with an additional vitamon e, and omega 3 fish oil. I feel good, but hope to feel great and live a long life. My Mom is 95, my Dad was 87 as well as my grand parents.

The best book I have read lately regarding this subject is Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's Prevent and Reverse Heart disease. He is from the Cleveland Clinic. The numero uno heart hospital in the country. Plant based, NO oils, nothing with a face or a mother. It is amazing. Simple to understand, but I have a hard time with chocolate and ice cream.
