    • Spinach
    • Kale
    • Collard greens
    • Arugula
    • Dandelion greens

    Curry:
Yellow curry contains cur-cumin, a pungent spice that may help prevent melanoma and other types of cancer cells from proliferating.

Cruciferous veggies: These contain phytochemicals that may cut the risk of stomach, breast and skin cancers.
    • Broccoli
    • Broccoli sprouts
    • Cabbage
    • Bok choy
    • Cauliflower
    • Watercress
    • Swiss chard

    Berries:
These fruits contain antioxidants such as polyphenols, which counteract and repair cell damage.
    • Blueberries
    • Blackberries
    • Raspberries
    • Strawberries
    • Cranberries
    • Red grapes

    Tomatoes:
Studies suggest that having a tomato-rich diet may help lower the risk of developing both lung and stomach cancer.

We should eat what we need, not what we want. the food that gives good nourishment to our physical needs.

Summers about over. Why write this article NOW?

For the record, kale and collard greens should be in the cruciferous group. As for curry, the word applies to 100 or so blends of other spices (cumin, turmeric, fenugeek, coriander, etc.), so this would be much, much more useful if the story told us which of those spices is the active ingredient here.

What about the antioxidant loaded acai berry from Brazil??? I can't believe there's no mention of it here. From what I understand about this berry, it has the highest amount of antioxidants of any food on the planet!

Most of you people, save Carri, are delusional. I really really wish I could ethically justify selling you people snake oil, because the bulk of you would fight over it.

a lot of these fruits do help in preventing cancer. however, I feel the #1 cancer fighting fruit has been left off this list. the acai berry. there is nothing else like it on this earth. this is the time to be aware of the oxidative stress in your body which leads to cancer. consuming about 6,000 ORAC units will definitely lead to a cancer free life. I recommend doing a google search on dr. lou niles. but remember, not all acai products are equal.
