      This is the stupidest article I've ever read. Nobody knows what causes breast cancer, and if we did, we would be able to prevent it. I had breast cancer and I'm 26 years old. I'm one of the healthiest people you'd ever meet. I'm 5'1'' and weigh 103 pounds and eat healthy and exercise, and I still got cancer. You shouldn't tell people if they eat certain things (especially red meat which is a contributer to so many cancers, including breast and colon) they can prevent cancer, because we don't know how to prevent it.

      Steve - Here Here good Post . I couldn't agree more that a valued individual nutrient is much better eaten in a wholesome food that is appropriate (!) for the specific person's health condition or therapeutic food goal .... in this case Breast cancer prevention. I have the 'wonder if's' you have about the author's true motive or training.

      I don't know where you are getting your information, but this is some of the most horrible nutrition advice when it comes to cancer prevention. There is established research that both dairy (casein protein/hormones/fats) and animal meat (fats/animal protein) contribute significantly to cancer. Read "The China Study" body of research for starters. It is bad science to assume that a vitamin or mineral that may be beneficial in isolation, continues to be so when consumed in a certain food. Meat and dairy are both extremely bad for breast cancer in particular. It makes me wonder if the author is just a shill for the meat and dairy industry.
