I still can't believe that we're officially in summer zone, but you know what? That also means we get to eat tons of foods that aren't just delish...they're healthy too.
So what are these magic summer foods? Take a look!

Watermelon:
By its very name, you can surmise that this fruit is super-hydrating. And it is! Watermelon is 90 percent water, low in calories (about 46 per cup), and contains vitamin C and lycopene-the same powerful antioxidant that's found in tomatoes, which is linked to a decreased risk of some types of cancers.

Corn: It's a picnic staple, for sure, but did you know that corn also contains antioxidants that may help protect your eyes against the sun? Plus! Those same antioxidants could help lower the risk of developing macular degeneration as you age.

Raspberries: The tangy berries clock in at 8 grams of fiber per cup, which research has suggested may help control weight gain. According to one study, upping your fiber consumption for every 1,000 that you eat could help you lose an average 4 1/2 pounds.

Blueberries:
Sweet and delish, right? But research has shown that the antioxidants in these lovely little orbs may help with nixing muscle fatigue. Plus, they're filled with vitamin C (one serving contains almost 25 percent of the daily vitamin requirement), fiber, manganese (which is important in development of bones and in the metabolism of protein, carbohydrates, and fat).

Tomatoes: They've got tons of lycopene, which may actually help protect your skin from sunburn.
