    Love cheese? Well, good news for you: A new study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that cheese lovers had a 12 percent lower risk of developing diabetes compared to those who don't usually eat cheese.

    But, here's the thing: Dairy, on the whole, did not make a different in diabetes prevention--just cheese. Some experts speculate that this might have to do with cheese's unique fermentation process. But, a duh moment: Chowing down on too much fromage could have the opposite affect and actually lead to adverse health effects.
