    Garhwal is one of the areas visited in the Himalayas. In the valley you can find Bhojpatra trees, the Bramhakamal rare, and many varieties of wildlife. The area also serves as a basis for addressing Swargarohini (alt: 6400.8 meters) Swargarohini and Jaundar Glacier to the south-east of Har-ki-dun. To the west you can see Bandar Mountain Drilling.

    The main source of living of this Pahari or hill people is cultivation. They grow Rice, Rajma, and Potatoes abundantly. Here you will find very beautiful double storey houses build from wooden beams cider, stones and mud; often decorate the wooden doors with intricate carvings, portraying stories of Mahabharata. Here you will find man setting and smoking Hukka in the evening hours, as they relax after hard labor in the day time. The forests of this majestic valley are rich in wildlife and a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. In short to be said you will be mesmerized to see lush green grassy land, conifer forests, beautiful birds and friendly people.
