    Scientists have reported that flowers boost mood before, and past studies have hinted that daffodils, particularly yellow-colored flowers, may have the power to improve happiness, but the latest research takes it a step further.

    In a new study conducted by Danish researchers, daffodils were found to be able to penetrate a layer of the brain in a way that could someday be used to treat depression.

    I'm not surprised that daffodils seem to have such fab qualities. They've been my favorite flowers since I was a little girl, and I always feel more cheerful when I smell their sweet, lemony scent.
