Many years ago I finished a four year University degree at a major Texas University. I had great teachers all through the five years I studied and had enough credits for a Master's degree.
America has become a Nation with too many people who are over weight. Lifetime good life style choices are the key. It is all very simple. I speak from experience. What you eat and drink you wear in flesh and fat. What goes in will either be used for the body's fuel or stored in fat cells.
To be a good weight for your height make sure you know what body type your frame is. This frame we inherit from our parents.
When you get up in the mornings, drink some good water and as you lay there start moving. Our bodies are made to move. Then before breakfast the most important meal of the day, exercise and shower.
If you have diabetes, learn to control your blood sugar.
Take care of your health. Sweat is a good thing. It is how the body lets go of excess water. It is dangerous if over done. This can cause the weight scales to show you lost weight but it is only water weight. This is how many diet pills work. They are dangerous.
Many medications cause swelling and weight gain. Your thyroid gland is called the mater gland because it regulates most of the others so have it checked. If you have a swollen neck over your voice box, you many have a problem.
See a doctor before starting any special diet. Anorexia is starvation and is very dangerous.
Over eating is dangerous.
Count Calories to loose weight. Learn food values. To gain weight increase caloric intake. To loose weight, increase exercise and lower calories.
Certain foods have good and bad qualities. There is saturated and unsaturated fat.
Most cancers are from polluted environments.
Vegetables and most all kinds cause weight loss.
Mind over matter. Write out the weight you want to be and why. Keep a food and exercise journal.
Do not buy ice cream or high calorie foods like cheese cake and once a week for 5 minutes, eat what ever you want.
Stay away from empty calories. These are your sodas and most alcoholic drinks. They cause bloating and swelling and many other health problems.
