Courtesy of Subway You likely know now Subway spokesperson Jared used the sub sammies to help him seriously slim down. However, Jared isn't the only one who likes to eat the subs to stay fit. A recent study asking fans how they would prepare to strut their stuff this NYC Fashion Week season found that approximately eight in ten women -- 78.8, be exact -- would turn to Subway restaurants to eat fresh and keep their figures fashion-forward. Surprisingly, only six percent of women polled prefer to dine-in and prepare their own meals instead. To that end, the brand will be putting on their own "Project Subway" fashion show apart from Lincoln Center today, serving as the inspiration behind this season's unconventional bespoke collection made from solely recycled restaurant packaging materials.
You can stay fit while enjoying a Subway sandwich as well thanks to their Fresh Fit Choices menu, which is the first fast food menu to earn American Heart Association certification. MAJOR bonus points, amiright? These flavorful options are always in vogue.

Roast Beef: Better than a burger, this sub is piled high with lean, savory roast beef that is sure to satisfy. Add a kick with jalepenos or cool it down with fresh tomato slices.
Each of these 6-inch subs come in at less than 350 calories and less than 10 grams fat. To keep them lean and nutrient-rich, be sure to choose whole-wheat bread, load them up with plenty of fresh veggie toppings and stick to lighter sauce options like mustard, vinegar or the sweet onion sauce.
