Thank You For Being My Dad

"Here's Something To Feel Good About Today!"

"His heritage to his children wasn't words or possessions, but an unspoken treasure, the treasure of his example as a man and a father."
    - Will Rogers Jr.

Although it may seem to be just another commercial holiday, let's remember the real meaning of Father's Day is to "be grateful."

My dad passed on in 2000, yet not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I am so thankful I had the chance to let him know while he lived, how much he meant to me and more importantly, how proud I was to have had him as my Dad. My father wasn't perfect, but then again neither was I. At times our differences were unnerving, but our similarities were also uncanny. The amazing thing is that despite everything, we learned to forgive each other's shortcomings and grew to appreciate, value and most of all love each other. No matter what life brought to us, in the end we forged a deep and powerful connection that will endure.

Join me and let's say Thank YOU to your dad and to dads everywhere.
