Outside cancer is best to cut out early --inside is hard obviously to see and needs critical surgery.
Be cool one day when they are able to cut open human body via lasers or phasers controled and also burn oput the effected tissue and treat this disease fast.

My big problem lies in the lack of knowledge of docters and medical aids. There is also some dermatotogist that should not be in a position to charge the amounts they do because they are not nealy as good as they think they are. Medical aids see removal ops as cosmetic surgery, which they don't pay. I had to ask various dermatologist to remove besult sinsonomas in the past and had to pay a lot of money because I am not certfied as a cancer patient.

Cigarettes and lung cancer are for a different topic. Skin cancer is a sneaky one. Your best bet is to go to a dermatologist, NOT your general doc for a yearly "skin cancer screening". Also have your partner or a friend check between appointments and check them.

IF your dermatologist biopsies a suspicious spot, you have the right to ask them to send your biopsy to a derpatopathology service of your choice to be diagnosed. There's a lot of labs out there with not that talented of dermatopathologists. Request they send your biopsy to UCSF Dermatopathology Service as they are the top definitive diagnosing docs available in the field. Very important to know exactly what you have, to treat it correctly.

i have a spot on the back of my leg that is hard and it always itches. i always scrape it and it usually has a scab of some sort on it. Should I let a doctor see it?

I've had six on my face, two on my neck and two on my arm. My first one on my neck I had for years and it was always itchy. Finally went to a dermatologist, he looked at it and said it's just a mole. I said cut it out anyway because it's itchy all the time. When the biospy came back it was cancer and I had to have more cut out.

Without insurance it's expensive. I have been charged $1,500 for less than one hour's work to cut out two on my face and $950 to cut out one on my arm which took the doctor no more than 15 minutes.

There is an inexpensive ($1.99) iPhone App called MelApp that can be used to detect skin cancer. It is an image-based risk assessment mobile app that assists in the early detection of melanoma. Here is the link:

even if you can see the cancer, and say the doctor removes it, there is always the chance of it returning internally, years later, and yes it is silent, unseen, and deadly......
