    How to Wear Glitter at Every Age This Holiday

    A little sparkle goes a long way when trying to get into the festive spirit, and that includes adding some to your makeup routine. Check out the latest holiday beauty trends for your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond to shine straight through New Year's.

    In Your 20s: Go for Silver and Gold

    When it comes to holiday makeup, these two shades should be your staples, says Christopher Drummond, celebrity makeup artist. Combine silver or gold glittery lids with a dab also on your cheeks for a 360-degree glow. "Just remember," warns Drummond, "don't overdo it. Less is more when it comes to glitter, especially on your face."

    In Your 30s: An All Over Shimmer

    Just because your 20s are behind you doesn't mean shimmer is off-limits. In fact, it's encouraged, says Drummond. "You can definitely still get away with showing some shimmer in your 30s, but again, don't overdo it. I suggest investing in a neutral glitter powder that you can use everywhere to spruce up your usual makeup look."

    Skip your staple scent and instead use Victoria's Secret Holiday Bombshell Shimmer Powder, paired with Julie Hewett Los Angeles Shimmy Face and Body Shimmer in Goldie to highlight your cheekbones and lids.
