Your professional life sure does require a heck of a lot of time on the 1st. Problem is, so does your personal life. What to do? Well, before you sacrifice your hours at the office or throw away the chance to lead that awesome new project, see if there isn't a way you can work smarter. Can you multi-task? Say, reading those financial reports at the gym? Can you ask your preschooler if you can read the financial statements aloud at bedtime instead of their usual sleepy-time story? You'll figure it out. Somebody drops the ball on the 5th, 6th and/or 7th, and it isn't you. Take appropriate steps as soon as you possibly can to redress the issue. Take yourself out to lunch on the 12th or 13th. You need a break from the office! A totally wild and crazy out-there dream you've been harboring about your advancement suddenly looks like it might happen on the 19th and 20th. Rock on! You know what you want on the 25th and 26th. So go out there and get it. Take advantage of just how wonderfully everything is progressing at work on the 30th and 31st. Who can you celebrate this with after-hours? Call them!

DAILY MOMSCOPE

Lost some of your drive? A lunar eclipse indicates that it's okay to take the slow lane in the weeks ahead. Take some side trips to explore your own interests and you'll find that you'll be renewed and ready to get back in the race.

DAILY OVERVIEW

Things just don't seem possible today -- but you can still break through this to the other side. It's a good time for you to push yourself and your people to new heights, if you can all handle the pressure!

DAILY FOODSCOPE

Oh, if only there was a way to combine National Brown Bag It and Wine Day. For the sake of productivity, you really shouldn't. But if you can get a half-day, why not take your homemade lunch and a glass of wine to the nearest park?

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

If you always take the same bus route to work or walk the same way to get to your neighborhood cafe, chart a new course. You might find a new boutique or a darling nail salon you wouldn't have noticed otherwise.
