Check in with someone you trust and get their unbiased feedback -- it should be quite valuable. Something reminds you of why you chose this field later in the week and by Friday you should be recommitted to at least some of the goals you had when you first started out. The chain of command turns out to need some tweaking this weekend, so get on it!
