Monthly Overview

If you can, you absolutely should spend the day with friends on the 1st. Yes, being around the people you like most is going to be the best way to bring in the new year. By the excellent 4th and 5th, you should prepare yourself for terrific news either on the work or on the romance front (or maybe both!). That low energy moment (or series of moments) that plagues you on the 10th or 11th is simply your body (and soul) telling you to take a break. Pamper yourself. When was the last time you went for a jog? By the fun-filled and very romantic 12th, 13th and 14th, you and they are having fun! And it is awfully romantic. Chances are, they are feeling just the way you do about all of this. So why not kiss? Your world is full of magnetism and beauty on the 19th, 20th and 21st, but do be careful not to over-indulge (in those magnetically delicious chocolates, for example). There's a lot of emotion circulating in your vicinity on the 24th, 25th and 26th. Feel it, but don't let it overwhelm you. The details are important on the 30th. Check them.

DAILY MOMSCOPE

Curiosity will drive you early in the day. Why not excavate your kiddo's room; you never know what's in there until you look. Later, it's time to express yourself. A wardrobe update might be just the thing to make you happy and right on trend.

DAILY OVERVIEW

This is a fine time to focus on your own needs, even if it feels selfish. It's not, really -- you've got to be in prime condition if you want to deal with the problems your friends are facing.

DAILY FOODSCOPE

National Escargot Day has arrived. Some might balk at the thought of eating snails, but more open-minded types realize that a protein is a protein -- and when it's cooked in butter and garlic, it's pretty darn tasty.

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

On a day like this, you wouldn't dream of giving up on anything you've set your mind to. Tackle a reasonable goal, such as a longer-than-usual workout, rather than an attempt to make your own ball gown.
