Monthly Career

If you think your spidey senses might be picking up on something that's afoot at work on the 1st, you should listen to your spidey senses. You don't necessarily need to know what's going on, exactly, or take any action: It's just a good idea to be aware that something is happening in your vicinity. You're in a very good position to make the things you want to happen happen, and that is a great position to be in, and you will be feeling great about it, but don't forget not to crow too much or you risk alienating your colleagues on the pretty terrific 2nd and 3rd. By the tumultuous 8th and 9th, your energy will probably be directed towards your personal life, rather than your professional one. That's okay. Don't take out non-work-related frustrations at work on the 13th or 14th. (As a matter of fact, don't take out any frustrations on your colleagues: If there's a genuine problem at work, address it appropriately.) Read all the small print, then read it again on the 17th, 18th and 19th. Keep your ego in check on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th. You succeed in doing something big on the 29th and 30th.

DAILY MOMSCOPE

Today it's more than likely that you will have a chance to make a splash on the social scene. Go ahead and hold an impromptu get-together for your tyke and friends. Taking them all to the pool might be a way to go.

DAILY OVERVIEW

You may be a dreamer, but on days like today, you prefer to handle the small details. It's one of those situations in which you can't really trust anyone else to get things right, so you have to do it yourself.

DAILY FOODSCOPE

You feel the need for a little sugar, and if it's caramelized, all the better. If you're in a health food or gourmet store, think about buying a little date, maple or coconut sugar, all of which are a touch better for you than the refined stuff.

DAILY BEAUTYSCOPE

Nothing breaks up a ho-hum weekend like creating something. So instead of going to a movie or the mall for the fifth Sunday in a row, why not visit a great bead store or enroll in a sewing seminar instead?
