New Beauty ReleasesA ton of new beauty products are launching this year, and I'm especially excited for spring makeup collections. This year nail art will be as popular as ever, and there's a new product to help you create easy DIY nail art that gets delivered straight to your door! Also hot this year are neutral eye shadows, and products like Benefit's World Famous Neutrals take the guesswork out of your morning routine. This year, keep the resolution to get even and brighter looking skin. I'll take a look at Alba Bontanica's line of skin products that help you do just that. New releases from Urban Decay, Stila and Hourglass round out my top picks for 2013.
Monthly nail art service
You may have heard of beauty subscription services that send out monthly picks for you to try. However, Nail Art Society is the first to provide this type of service centered around nails. Nail art began to gain popularity last year, and you can expect the craze to grow even more in 2013. With Nail Art Society all you have to do is open the box, and follow the step by step guide for the products provided. Every month there's a new theme of easy-to-do nail art, but of course you can go wild and create something unique. The subscription is $19.95 a month, but the first 500 people to use the code "shine" will get 50% off for as long as they are subscribed to Nail Art Society.

Gorgeously neutral eyes
Benefit hit the ball out of the park with their new World Famous Neutrals sets. The sets contain four powder eye shadows and two cream shadows that work together. The boxed set also includes a step by step guide of where to place the shades for a "day time look" and a "playtime look". These sets will make your beauty routine that much easier, especially when you're in a hurry in the morning.
Even out un-even skin
Many chicas have to deal with an un-even skin tone due to hyperpigmentation that usually affects olive skins. Alba Bontanica's line of Natural Even Advanced products uses a powerful "marine complex" which stimulates cell regeneration, and in turn evens out your complexion over time. I love their Sea Kelp Facial Toner for whenever my skin feels like it needs to be refreshed.

Skin perfecting Beauty Balm
A ton of new BB creams are coming out right now, but I really love Urban Decay's Naked Skin Beauty Balm. It takes the guesswork out of finding your perfect shade as it comes in one nearly transparent, universal shade. I love the BB's multiple functionality: it protects the skin with SPF 20, perfects it by reducing the appearance of visible pores and fine lines, and it hydrates and primes. You can wear it alone or under their Naked Skin Foundation for more coverage. This product is perfect for those who prefer to let their natural skin shine through. Sold at Sephora and Ulta.
New Stila exclusives
Stila has been coming out with some awesome new products for spring, but there were a few that caught my eye. Their new Color Balm Lipstick, a lipstick-lip balm hybrid, feels as moisturizing and light as a lip balm, but it gives you the opaque coverage of a lipstick. Another new item in their Stay All Day Line is their 3d Wet-To-Set Eye Shadow Trio. The velvety shadows look ultra vibrant when applied wet and last all day on your eyes. Lastly, I am loving their Smudgestick Waterproof Eye Liner in Periwinkle. It adds the perfect pop of color that instantly brightens up the whites of your eyes. Sold at Sephora and Ulta.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder is one of the few of it's kind. It diffuses the light around you so your face gets a beautiful glow with six different shades to choose from. I love how lifted my face looks after applying the powder, and a little goes a long way. I like to apply it on the highest points of my cheek bones, and sometimes on the decolletage if I'm feeling fancy. Sold at Sephora.
