If you are dating a guy you really like, it can be difficult deciding when to get intimate with him. Although the idea of having sex with him sounds great, you don't want to do it too soon and jeopardize the relationship. So, how long should you wait before having sex with your man? The truth is there is no "right" time to have sex; it depends on the couple. One couple might be ready to have sex within two months of dating while another couple might not be ready until they've dated a full year.
It's important to wait until you are truly ready and have discussed it with your guy. If you do it before you are ready, it can totally ruin the relationship. Even though your hormones might be raging, here are reasons why you shouldn't give it up too soon.
Sex will be much more special
It sounds cliché, but sex is really more special if you've waited. Just think about it…if you have sex with your man within a few days of dating him, you won't have anything to look forward to. If you, however, take the time to get to know him, you will be having sex with someone you really care about instead of some stranger.
Your guy will love the challenge
Although your guy obviously wants sex, he actually prefers a challenge and will appreciate you more if you make him wait. He might beg sometimes for sex, but he secretly wants you to turn him down. Making him wait a little bit will only make you more desirable to him.
You won't have any regrets
Sleeping up with someone too soon might make you regret it. You will feel bad about having when you're not completely ready and might even resent your guy for it. If you, however, wait until the time is right, you won't have any regrets.
Although waiting until you are ready might be tough at times, it will be worth it in the end.
