Sometimes, when trying to navigate the often rough waters of marriage, I get lost in the storm of everything I think it's supposed to be. It's probably a culmination of reading too many novels and sugar-coated blogs, watching too many romantic comedies that, in my humble opinion, do a huge disservice to those of us just trying to deal with globs of toothpaste and beard whiskers in the sink.When relationship braggarts and one too many rom-com viewings have got me feeling bad about my own union I turn to cold, hard facts for the shot in the arm I need to keep the S.S. Matrimony afloat.
