Home may be where the heart is but it wouldn't hurt if it were also where are the single men are, would it?

According to a new Bloomberg study, ranking cities based on total population of single people, percentage of single men and women, and median household income, these are the 15 places I need to consider moving to, stat.

Well I don't care that much about median income, but I am very interested in these cities where there are lots and lots of single men. What can I say? I like to have options.

Here are the top 15 cities according to overall score--but I've included the stat that matters most to me, the percentage of males who are single.

15. Frisco, Texas, 27.57%
14. Highlands Ranch, Colorado, 30.78%
13. Johns Creek, Georgia, 29.03%
12. South Jordan, Utah (tie), 37.82%
11. Maple Grove, Minnesota (tie), 36.25%
10. Cupertino, California, 34.71%
9. Weston, Florida, 37.82%
8. Ellicott City, Maryland, 35.78%
7. Levittown, New York, 43.15%
6. Stamford, Connecticut (tie), 48.75%
5. Bolingbrook, Illinois (tie), 42.36%
4. Newton, Massachusetts, 48.90%
3. Redmond, Washington, 50.02%
2. Arlington, Virginia, 58.42%
1. Hoboken, New Jersey, 68.38%

Hoboken has been making a lot of these top-ranked cities lately, have you noticed? As a former Manhattanite, I'm formally trained to sneer at anything in Jersey but I may need to lose the 'tude, dude.

Anybody live in any of these cities? The Huffington Post points out that the top five are smaller cities outside of larger metropolitan areas. Do you think that's the key to a good place for singles?
