25 Ways to Be Romantic with Your Man

Show him you care.
Show him you care.

Your guy may not want to admit it, but the truth is, he wants to be wined and dined just as much as you do-but in his own way. Our guy-approved tips let you send a clear romantic message no warm-blooded man can resist.

1. If you catch him playing Wii, pop down beside him and challenge him to a two-player duel. Even if you're not so into gaming, he'll dig that you're making an effort to try something he likes.

2. If he's having a crazy week, tackle the dirty dishes in his sink or return that Netflix DVD he's had for days. You'll show you're in tune with his needs and are willing to go out of your way to help.

3. Suggest a fancy-ish place for dinner and drinks...and grab the check when it comes. He was probably expecting to pay, so you'll catch him by surprise-and he'll find it sweet you're treating him this time. 4. Surprise him during the week by showing up at his place with his favorite treat-brownies, pizza, whatever. It sounds old school, but it's no secret that dudes love being fed...and it can't hurt to remind him you know his preferences.

5. When you're watching TV together, prop his feet on your lap and give them a rubdown. Guys like being pampered as much as you do, so after a long day on the job, you'll probably be his favorite person ever.

6. When he's showering in the morning, sneak in and write "Bye babe, miss you already!" on the mirror with your finger, then slip out. You'll have him thinking about you all day.

7. When you're out together, touch him often-resting your hand on his arm, rubbing his back, grazing legs at the table, etc. Guys are super tactile, and physical contact will send the signal that you're feeling close to him.

8. If he's traveling without you for a weekend, slip him something sweet-like a card or a picture of you-to show you want him thinking about you while you're apart.

9. Score tickets on the DL to see one of his favorite musicians and spring them on him. The fact that you took the initiative shows you care, and he'll love being treated to his own date night (whether he owns up to it or not).

10. When you're together, leave the cell in your bag. Giving him your undivided attention at dinner or wherever will show him that you're 100 percent focused on what he's saying, which he'll interpret as you being super into him.

11. As you're parting ways after a date, give him a long, deep kiss. His last memory of you will be a sweet one, and it'll make him want to see you again ASAP.

12. Sign up to try something totally new and foreign together, like a sushi-making class or an indoor skydiving sesh. New experiences are bond-boosters, and you'll both have a blast making asses of yourselves together.

13. Handwrite a note and leave it somewhere he'll find the next day (like his sock drawer), saying: "Hey, you. Hope you have an amazing day. See you soon." Short, sweet and way more personal than a text.

14. Suggest plans that involve hanging with his bros one weekend, like catching that new dude flick out or grabbing a bite to eat as a group. Showing you care about getting to know his group signals to him that you're thinking LTR.

15. If he's dragging you on a super lame errand, like to the store to buy sports gear, slap on your game face and fake like you're into it. Yeah, staring at basketballs for 30 minutes might suck, but he'll dig your easygoing nature.

16. When you're out at a bar, convince him to hit the dance floor with you for a few songs. Flaunting your chemistry in public will remind him what a freaking hot couple you make.

17. Slip on a curve-hugging dress next time you've got a dinner date. Men are super visual, so you know it'll drive him nuts-but he'll also appreciate that you took the time to get all dolled up just for him.

18. Hit the gym with him. You don't exactly have to spot him while he's pumping iron, but by being there together you'll reap the connection-boosting rewards of that post-workout endorphin high.

19. Print out a copy of one of your favorite FB pics together, and leave it for him somewhere in his apartment, like on his counter or desk. Chances are he wants one anyway, and boom-now he has an instant reminder of you right there.

20. When he's on the couch messing around on his laptop, sidle up beside him with yours-arms touching. The close contact will boost your levels of oxytocin, the cuddle hormone, and will make you both feel more connected without you saying a word.

21. When you're out in a group, indulge in a little PDA. Too much can be taboo, but a few quick kisses sends an I'm-with-him message to other guys, and shows your man you're not looking around elsewhere.

22. Become addicted to a new show together (our recommendation: the steamy-yet-guy-friendly Game of Thrones) and make a standing date to watch it every week when it comes on. Shared interests-even new ones-make you feel tighter.

23. Take a roadtrip together one weekend. The memories you'll make getting into trouble in a new town will strengthen your bond.

24. When it feels natural, slip a compliment or two into your conversation. We're not saying to spend an hour stroking is ego-just enough affirmation to let him know you're feeling it.

25. Post-date, let him know via text that you had a great time and want to see him again soon. You'll a) reassure him that he showed you a great time and b) let him know you're still thinking about him after-the-fact.
