It goes both ways. I make my man a special dinner, or just call him to say hi during the day, even when I know he's busy. I bring home his favorite ice cream or make him brownies when he's not expecting it... That's why we have been married for 12 years.

I believe it is what makes that special person in your life feel like he or she is the best thing that ever happened to you. You go out of your way to make their life easier, more comforable. yeah these are great, except when you do them for two months and then stop, really would have been better not to have had it at all. Guys, dont pull out all the stops until you're sure you mean it. Nothing hurts like being swept off your feet and then dropped cold on the floor.

Honestly, those things are nice, but communication is the most important. If you don't know what the other wants then you won't make them happy. Gotta be honest. Not every woman or man will respond to everything on the list like it's the greatest thing in the world, but doing absolutely none of them will leave em feeling the need for other comfort. Every person is different and their needs differ. Not everyone needs a shower of affection from their partner. Just need to know they care. Knew someone who couldn't even tell his girlfriend that she was pretty. His exact words, "kinda pretty". Stuff like that is insulting. If you can't at least make them feel good around you and you don't care then don't waste their time. And if you are planning on leaving them don't go around behind their back and cheat; end it and don't give them bullsh** reasons. They might get mad and yell, but in the long run they won't completely hate your for it. I hate it when people stick to someone cuz they don't wanna hurt their feelings, or don't wanna fight with them. Well, sorry, but doing that is only gonna make it harder.
