7 Little Ways You Can Spice Up Your Love Life

A little of this and a little of that will get you and your guy going.
A little of this and a little of that will get you and your guy going.

No matter how steamy sex was in the beginning, almost all couples settle into a more relaxed routine once they've been together for a while. And that can be a bit disappointing-not to mention, make you feel a little less connected with your guy. Luckily, there are simple tricks to turn on your man and reignite the spark.

Do the "Swirl"
In a nonsexual setting, lightly trace your fingertips in unpredictable patterns against his arm, his lower back, or even his thigh (like, say, when he's driving). Guys go nuts for unexpected touches because they never know where you're going to put your hands next. And the vaguely sexual touches in public will feel naughty for both of you, leaving you both eager to get back home, where raunchy behavior is not only okay, it's encouraged.

Just Touch More
Hugs, kisses, booty swats, shoulder rubs-the more loving touches you give your partner, the more oxytocin you'll both release into your bloodstream. Known as the cuddle hormone, it will boost the feelings of intimacy between you, guaranteeing that you'll feel less like roommates and more like honeymooners.

Get Sweaty
Working out will obviously make you feel like a goddess, but it also boosts endorphins. And the happier you feel, the more likely you are to crave sex.

Pleasure Yourself
You know the saying "use it or lose it"? That's kind of true when it comes to your libido. Say you and your boyfriend or husband just haven't been lucky in timing or sleep schedules this past week. Take care of your own needs (and keep yourself primed for when your calendars do line up). Watch some porn that you like for inspiration, or download Fifty Shades of Grey to your Kindle and kick back with a glass of wine. Who knew being alone could be so sexy?

Make Yourself Feel Like a Million Bucks
There is absolutely nothing sexier feeling and seeming than confidence. So do what you need to do to feel like the hottest, coolest, sexiest version of yourself-whether that's getting a blowout, taking a luxurious bubble bath, slipping into a sexy negligee, or getting dripping wet sweaty in a damn intense session of hot yoga. The more confident and self-assured you feel, the sexier you'll feel, and the more attracted he'll be to you. Everyone's a winner.

Take Some Time Apart
No, not like a break from the relationship. Just for the evening, or the weekend. Do your own thing-do a spa day with the girls, or join a book club that meets every Tuesday, or go for a jog by yourself every evening. When you have your own things going on, you'll have more to talk to him about later. Plus, it gives you both a chance to miss each other a little bit. And there's not much sexier than I'm-So-Happy-To-See-You sex.

Play Along
Late at night, when you feel him press against you... yeah, you know what we're talking about. Normally you might swat him away and complain that you're too tired. But instead of dismissing him, instead, turn over and start making out. Sometimes it takes a few mintues of kissing to get you in the mood-and soon enough you might be as horny as he is. If that doesn't work, simply purr in his ear: "I want to see you touch yourself." Then kiss his neck, run your fingers over his thighs and chest, and tell him how sexy he is as he finishes himself off. He'll feel grateful that you're still involved in the activity, and you'll feel closer to him.
