A Love that Lasts Forever.
"Looking Through My Eyes"
When you look at my husband, what do you see?
I see love personified, forever encompassing me
Not just any man for his qualities are far, far more
Noble, intelligent, loving, generous; one I truly adore
There he stands, handsome, regal, strong and wise
This is what you would see, looking through my eyes
He is protector, counselor, lover, and my best friend
A constant love, never wavering, pure without end
He lifts me up in a world dedicated to failure and strife
His blanket of protection, placing me first in his life
Shelter from all life's storms, warmth and love in the night
His absence-much like death, 'til again he is within my sight
There was a time so very long ago, when I was very young
T'was then I knew him, he became the song I've forever sung
He rescued me from the tragedies of my obscure birth
The only one that knew I existed on a very distant earth
With his songs of love and kindness, he is always there
Gently guiding, showing me how much he really does care
The sting of life aging him, someday causing him to fail
Before the world, he will appear so very weak and frail
Through my eyes he still stands, lord, wise, loving and strong
Master of all that I am, to him and him only I shall belong
Deep within his eyes now old, I know I will forever see
The image he so loved, so cherished, how he loved me
In my eyes he will never appear old, frail, dying or weak
I'll love him even when dust, of him my dying lips will speak
When the time comes there will be a new heaven and earth
I will be waiting for only him and the day of our rebirth
When you look at my husband, what do you see?
I see love personified, forever encompassing me.

Now I would like to share with you some of the pictures I have done of him..I love the 18th century. I often place people in that time.
